Dear Alumni,

It appears the rain has stopped (momentarily at least) and summer is finally here! We have had a busy spring with our co-ed sports teams; Hands-on, and our trip to Camden Yards to watch the Tigers down the Orioles. The Executive Board has also been hard at work revising our by-laws and preparing for the fall. Be ready for running, a family activity, and Spartan football!

Finally, I would I am pleased and excited to announce that the DC Spartan Executive Board has a new Secretary, Rachel Kahan! Rachel will be replacing Norma who left us earlier this year for an assignment in Kodia, Alaska. Rachel comes to us with a wealth of experience and knowledge of database systems, communication, membership and planning experience, and a wealth of other talents. Rachel is a 2007 graduate from the James Madison College at MSU. She earned a BA in International Studies and a minor in Muslim Studies. We help us welcome Rachel to the EB!
