Dear Alumni, Can you believe that we are half way through January? It's hard to believe that we are starting a new three year term. 2007-2009 was a time of growth for our alumni assocation. Over that time period we expanded the types of events and activities we held. Did you know that we had over 23 different types of events for our alumni association? In addition, our local and national membership grew significantly. 2010 has started off with a bang! We just had our first Executive Board meeting with our new members. There is a lot of enthusiasum and we are very excited about the events and changes coming this year. Within the next month, we will be hosting a number of events. We look forward to hosting the UM Club at the Capitol Lounge for a basketball game, a bowling event, and much more! Finally, I wanted to say welcome to the Spring 2010 Semester in DC students. They have arrived in the area and will be completing internships at a variety of government agencies and businesses. In addition, they will be taking classes at our DC office. Please feel free to extend yourself and experience in DC when you meet them at one of our events. GO GREEN!
